About
An independent house, built for the long story.
Pietersen & Co. Publishing was founded by two brothers who began by publishing books across many genres — and wanted to build something more lasting: recognisable imprints, distinctive authors and a direct relationship with readers.

Our philosophy
Every book should earn its place. We publish to teach, comfort, question and enchant — and we let each imprint and author speak in its own voice.
Our mission
To build distinctive publishing worlds, market our books independently and develop genuine, permission-based relationships with the readers who love them.
Our vision
To grow into a house of dozens — eventually hundreds — of titles, across multiple authors, languages and formats, reaching readers through many channels.
Our story
Two Brothers. One Publishing House. Many Worlds.
Pietersen & Co. Publishing began with two brothers and a shared belief that books deserve more than a place on a shelf.
What started as a creative partnership grew into the idea of building a publishing house where different kinds of stories, knowledge, and imagination could find their own distinct homes.
Some books invite children to discover the world. Others explore the complexities of being human, challenge familiar ideas, or transport readers into lives and places far beyond their own.
Each imprint has its own voice. Each author brings a different perspective. Yet behind them all is the same commitment: to create books worth discovering, sharing, and returning to.
Many voices. Many worlds. One house.
How we're organised
Imprints and authors
Imprints are editorial labels with their own subjects and readers. Authors are individual writers published by the house.
